I see dumb people - and they have driving licenses!
Ok so i wake up this morning, look out the window, and go SHIT! it's raining.......
Don't get me wrong. I love rain, it's my fav of all weather. I love making bets on how long the power grid will last during a thunderstorm.
It's the fact that when it starts to rain, even just sprinkling, or for that matter when it gets dark........or hot....or cloudy.....or cold............. or god forbid hot and dark or cold and dark and my all time fav dark and rainy ............ people forget how to drive!!!!!!
And it pisses me off.
I leave for work half an hour early and behold ..... some nancy boy has to do 50 through the tunnel on the motorway, the resulting surge of people braking backs up traffic for 30 minutes.......and what rainy morning would be complete without a four car pileup on the anzac bridge.........
I think my contribution to the downfall of civilisation will be suggesting to the rta that we have licensing for different weather conditions........

I can sympathise with your M2 debacle, the F3 is no better, people freak out at just mist, let along rain.... followed by the snail paced drive down the Pacific Highway. (40km/h zones are only in SCHOOL TIMES, dipwads!).
However, i think you are somehow blessed by not having to take the train. I was on one on Saturday.... and a baby could have crawled by faster doing a commando crawl. Be thankful for your own personal pocket of roadspace :)
