Sydney drivers-we are so not trustworthy...

A recent survey done in NSW revealed that 1 in 6 drivers who damage parked cars do not leave details.
I was discussing this with squishi at work today and i related a tale to her of a "friend of mine" who whilst trying to get back onto a certain highway, realized that she was on a street that was one way, but had not been posted as such.
In the middle of relating this story she broke in saying....
"Hang on is it that street in St lenoards, near the railway station across from the convenience store???"
Spooky...............
Turns out "My Friend" and squishi both been in the same situation where they had found themselves halfway up this unmarked one way st and in a "Oh my God" fit of panic, reversed back the way they had come........
the one difference being "My Friend" swerved to the left taking off some poor unfortunates bumper and headlight, having a panic attack for half an hour before realizing the poor sod had come back and driven off while she had been hyperventilating over what she was going to do......

yes - the poor 'friend'. I would have panicked too. Actually, I did. That street is DEFINITELY NOT signposted as "one way" or "no entry" excepting up near the highway end when it's too late.
Been there, done that, I understand completely how your "friend" did this :)
there is one thing I'd really like to get across to the other drivers out there..... it is physically impossible to have two objects in the same place at the same time.
I'm just lucky that cars come equipped with horns.
it's amazing the amount of temporal physics you pick up from dr who isn't it mog.
what was it, two objects cann't be in the same point in time and space. being there results in their mutual destuction............
